STRENGTHENING THE SISTERHOOD

NHBW membership is open to anyone who embraces the mission and goals of the organization. NHBW members reflect a rich diversity of dedicated women from varied business, professional and community disciplines, representing a broad constituency that crosses all economic, social and educational backgrounds.

Benefits of membership are numerous and include the opportunity to:

Becoming a member is easy. Simply click the chapter you would like to join from below. You will then be directed to their contacts page (which opens in a new browser window). Feel free to contact them via phone or email for further information. The membership chair will gladly walk you through the easy membership process. Welcome to the Sisterhood!

Member-at-Large

NHBW's goal is to affect the community at its source. We achieve this goal by empowerment at the local level, for who better to see and address needs than those who are part of the community.

For those persons who want to become a part of and support the work of NHBW, but who may lie in a community or state without a local chapter, we have created the Member-at-Large membership status. The women of NHBW are unswerving in their commitment to reach women on issues that affect their well-being, such as healthcare, family, education, economic equity, and protection against violence. And as a Member-at-Large, you become a member of this dynamic group of women who are making a difference in the lives of women and their families across the United States.

Members-at-Large (MALs) live throughout the United States. They support and participate in NHBW causes and enjoy many of the privileges of membership, which include a quarterly newsletter, member-only access to the website, information on upcoming national events, networking opportunities, an invitation to the Annual Conference, an NHBW, Inc. membership card and pin, and participation in chapter activities near your area.

For more information on MAL membership, click here to download the brochure or email our membership department with your questions and/or inquiries.
