MAKING THINGS HAPPEN
Dear Friends, Family and Associates:
I need your help. The National Hook-Up of Black Women, Inc., of which I have been a member for many years, is in need of financial support. As you know, the economy has been rough on nonprofit organizations like NHBW. But, the many underserved population of women and families we serve are experiencing even greater hardship during these perilous times. In order to assist these families, so that children do not suffer, we have had to up our commitment stream not only in terms of time, and effort, but financial resources as well.
As an organization, the National Hook-Up of Black Women, inc. (NHBW), has pledged to stay-the-course and continue to strengthen the well-being of the underserved population of women and children in our communities. We realize that this extraordinary effort takes extraordinary commitment and resources. I am reaching out to you, not only because you are someone that I know who cares about the plight of underserved women and families in our community, but because I know that you will put your money where your heart is and help us stay the course to ensure that no woman or child in our community is left without the support and resources to also stay the course.
I have pledged $3,000 in contributions to our “Stay-the-Course Campaign.” And, I am not alone. Others who know the work of NHBW in the last 35 plus years, have also joined the campaign.
Your tax deductible contribution of $10, $25, $50 would mean so much to us. As a $100 or more contributor, your name or organization will be listed on our website as a “Stay the Course” Gold Star Supporter.
